Our team is a collection of local scientists, hunters, and ranchers focus on Central California and the Central Coast. Our team has many years of experience in trapping and removing wild pigs from private ranches in California. We have disposed of over 500 pigs in the last 2 years alone.
Our Team will come and assess your situation and provide the landowner suggestions on trapping and final disposal options. Concurrently our team will assist the landowner to apply for a depredation permit from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife Department. This usually takes 30-day to receive the permit. Then our team will set out our traps and start the removal process. The timing of removal is highly variable, but with consistent effort we have found the pig population can be eliminated in as little as a few weeks to a few months.
Feral pigs cause damage to crops, pastures, water holes, fencing and can cause significant economic losses to agricultural production through predation of livestock, disease introduction and environmental damage. Wild pig damage can lower housing and property values
Feral pigs create significant soil disturbance, altering drainage, increasing turbidity and sedimentation and greatly assisting the spread of weeds.
Feral pigs can also carry disease and parasites that affect stock and pose a disease risk to humans (eg brucellosis). They are a major potential host of a number of exotic diseases such as foot-and-mouth disease.
Our team provides wild pig trapping and removal services. We use a variety of trapping and disposal methods that will be determined by the location conditions.
